FOUR GOLD MEDALS from SF Chronicle Wine Competition!!

Lets face it, we are very lucky to be producing world class wines alongside many other incredible boutique wineries in our area. Our region is ideal for cultivating happy vines and we thrive in a community of people who put all their passion into making a beverage that reflects the land as much as the brand. The rest of us? We get to buy a bottle, pop a cork, pour a glass and enjoy every sip with friends and family. It is a win-win situation.

The San Francisco Chronicle decided to take on wine producers from all over North America, and hundreds from our sweet, little mecca here in Sonoma County. The judges taste each wine for nuances; balance, richness, complexity, acidity, mouthfeel, finish and so on. The SF Chronicle Wine Competition is the largest wine competition in Northern California and we are pitted against our friends and neighbors, some we've gone to high school with or lived down the street from us growing up. We are proud of our wine region for all the awards pulled in at this event!!

We are very excited to announce that the following Hawley wines came back with gold medals:

2018 Viognier, Sonoma County

Current Release! This vintage is a blend of two vineyards: McKinney Vineyard in Russian River Valley and our certified organic estate vineyard in Dry Creek Valley.

2017 Estate Zinfandel, Hawley Vineyard, Dry Creek Valley

Releasing to the Hawley Wine Club in February 2020
Made with organically grown fruit on our estate vineyard on Bradford Mountain. This is a field blend picked separately and blended to 94% Zin, 6% Petite Sirah.

2016 Estate Merlot, Hawley Vineyard

Current Release!
This vintage is a blend of 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Franc, and it is aged for 24 months on French oak. Made with organically grown fruit on our estate vineyard on Bradford Mountain.

2015 Broadwing, Estate Meritage, Hawley Vineyard

Releasing to the Hawley Wine Club in 2021
Only two barrels are made of this Bordeaux-style blend. Made with organically grown fruit on our estate vineyard on Bradford Mountain, this is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.
