TASTING ROOM AMBASSADOR

Hawley Winery is seeking part-time sales and hospitality help in our downtown tasting room and art gallery. We are looking for a fun, outgoing individual that is passionate about wine and would thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position is largely sales/hospitality oriented, selling not only wines, but the story of our small, family-owned winery. We have a small crew with opportunity for growth for individuals with marketing and organizational skills. The position is 2-4 days a week, with some weekend availability required. Compensation is based on experience, with additional tips and commission available based on performance.

Tasting Room Duties:

-Interact with customers in a professional, energetic, and friendly manner. -Educate guests about the brand and wine. -Work alongside other Tasting Room Associates to meet monthly sales/wine club goals. -Greet visitors and conduct tastings. -Sales and hospitality. -Opening/Closing shift and related duties. -Telephone and email correspondence. -Wine club and sales support. -Stocking wines and merchandise. -Maintains Tasting Room cleanliness and overall aesthetics. -Additional responsibilities available depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications:

-Wine service experience preferred but not required. -Written/verbal communication skills. -Computer proficiency required. -Outstanding customer service skills. -Strong organizational and problem solving skills. -Wine knowledge preferred, but not required. -Strong sales background preferred. -Professional appearance and demeanor. -Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift/carry 50lbs. -21 Years of age or older.

Office Manager/ Bookkeeper

Hawley Winery is seeking a bookkeeper and office manager help run our small family operation in Dry Creek Valley. We are looking for an organized and detail oriented individual to focus on bookkeeping and administrative tasks. Compensation is based on experience, with health and PTO benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain books and records • Accounts payable and receivable • Deposits • Invoicing • Bookkeeping • Filing • Compliance • State compliance filing • Stock office supplies • Assist with wine club projects • Assist with CRM projects

Qualifications

• Accounting experience and education • Strong computer skills, including Quickbooks, excel and word • Previous experience with winery compliance reporting preferred
