A Viognier for the ages! In 2016 we produced one of the most aromatically intense and richest Viognier I think we have ever made. This Viognier Is a blend of 3 different vineyards, including our Estate Viognier. The majority of the fruit comes from a vineyard in the Russian River Valley called McKinney Vineyard. In 2016 we had a long ripening season and were able to get the fruit to the peak of ripeness. This helped to create all the wonderful tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, guava). You may also pick up the classic peachy apricot character that we see in our Estate Viognier fruit. Combine all this with wonderful citrus and honeysuckle aromatics this wine is the perfect summertime accompaniment. Pair with fresh heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella over penne pasta. Or just enjoy it in your favorite chair watching the sun go down. I'm ready for summer if you can’t tell! Enjoy now through the next 5 years.

Tasting Notes

"Medium-light golden yellow; attractive, floral, pineapple, mango, and white peach aroma with a hint of honeysuckle; medium body; crisp, lemony, tropical fruit flavors with a slight creaminess in the mouthfeel; lingering aftertaste. Very enjoyable to drink now with potential for further development with a few more years of aging. Very highly recommended." -CA Grapevine
