This classic Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is grown on the Treborce Vineyard which is nestled in the hillside East of Dry Creek Road overlooking our neighbors at Wilson and Comstock wineries and is planted to a field blend of 5% Petite Sirah. The Treborce Vineyard grows award-winning and highly sought-after fruit and we are excited to present our first release from this vineyard!
Floral violet on the nose; full mouthfeel, juicy blackberry flavors, sun-ripened plum and hints of black pepper and soft tannin on the long finish.
Additional Tasting Notes:
"Refined and well-built, with lively raspberry, anise and white pepper flavors that take on richness on a long finish. Drink now through 2024." - Wine Spectator, May 2019 Issue
"Medium to medium-dark ruby; attractive, deep, ripe, intense, briary, jammy, red and black berry fruit aroma with floral notes and hints of cedar and baking spices; full body; rich, ripe, briary, raspberry and blackberry fruit flavors with a peppery note; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Currently a bit tight and will benefit from several more years of bottle aging. Very highly recommended." - CA Grapevine Review, September 2019 Issue
