2018 Estate Zinfandel, Hawley Vineyard
Double Gold Medal - SF Chronicle Wine Competition
This block of Zinfandel was planted on our estate in 2007 from cuttings off an old, local Zinfandel clone known as “Rockpile Clone” or “Cloverdale Church Clone.” The vineyard is certified organic and grown without the use of chemical fertilizer, pesticides or herbicides.

Rich and dark wine. Aromas of cocoa, toffee, strawberry, violets. Brimming with flavors of cherry, raspberry, baking spices and a long layered finish.
Cases Produced: 375
This wine is planted as a field blend of 94% Zinfandel, 6% Petite Sirah, however, we pick the varieties separately to have better control over the blend. This wine is made from certified organically grown grapes and, being grown on the steep hillside of Bradford Mountain, displays layers of complexity and acidity which will allow it to bottle age very well.
Barrel aged for 15 months in French and American oak
