Tasting Notes
A Complex Zinfandel; Spicy, brambly, blackberry, cherry, great structure
"Bright and jazzy, this wine hits the palate with tangy raspberry, dark cherry, and boysenberry fruit, accented by blueberry, vanilla, white pepper, and sarsaparilla. This is the brisk, refreshing side of Zinfandel, doing double-duty as a pre-meal sipper and a pairing at the table." - Sonoma Magazine - November 2020 Issue
"A brisk red, with wiry black cherry, espresso and smoky anise flavors that finish with zesty tannins. Drink now through 2026. - Wine Spectator - Web Issue 2020

Winemaker Notes
This wine is harvested from a 55-year-old, head-trained and dry-farmed vineyard grown along Dry Creek. Originally offered in 2019 as a Futures Offering for Barrel Tasting, we had fun tasting as we went with this wine and adapted our barrel-aging plan based on what would most compliment the fruit.
Cooperage Notes
