2019 Sauvignon Blanc, Hopkins River Ranch
Wine Club Release for April 2020
Here is a new release from the Hopkins River Ranch Vineyard in Russian River Valley. The fruit comes from two different blocks on the vineyard, one up on a hillside and one down in the valley along the river. The upper block ripens faster and offers more tropical flavors, whereas the lower block ripens slower, has a brighter acidity and more grassy notes. The blend of the two makes a perfectly balanced and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc!
Lychee, gooseberry, Asian Pear, lime/citrus/grapefruit, banana, honeydew, mango, guava, grassy. Crisp, clean, refreshing, lingering bright acidity, well-balanced in the mouth.
